Best Folding Knife

Saying that a folding knife is the best one ever made is crossing a fine line, there are several really great knives. Such as the Emerson Super CQC-8, which I have and the Zero Tolerance 0200 which I also have and there are many others. So there is a fine line between just being a great knife and being the best folder made. The Adamas has D2 steel which is, I believe, superior to 154CM. The Adamas not only has the quality of a Benchmade knife, the blade opening is as smooth as silk and the overall design of the knife is not only very functional but a beauty to look at. Adding everything up, the Adamas may indeed have crossed that fine line into being the best folding knife now available.

This knife should set the standard for all others it's size. Built like something made in the USA should be.....reliable and TOUGH! Could very well be the best made folding knife ever made so far! The D2 steel holds a amazing edge. The Axis lock is THE best locking system ever made for a folder! After having this a liner lock seems so inferior. There is a video on YouTube with a Russian putting this thru a "Hard Use Test". It's a MUST SEE. It'll make a believer out of you as it has many. After seeing this video myself and a friend from work had to have one. We both label this as money very well spent. Could very well be the last folding knife you'll ever need to buy! As was said your better off getting black version as the tan will wear off. Life Time warranted and they have a LifeSharp program....$5 for return shipping...send it in they will not only sharpen it, but will also inspect the knife for any warranted repairs and "tune" the knife for optimum performance. (service does not apply to any serrated portion of the blade). Can get blade plain or serrated version.
BOTTOM LINE: If you had to survive in the woods and all you had was a folding knife this would be the one ya want. Some might say it's kinda large.....it's not limited to slicing and opening boxes. You want a slim made pretty blade this might not be for you. If you want a knife that will save your bacon? This one will do that and then some. Hence title "Could replace the Dog as Man's best friend".

This knife is just amazing !!! It feels great in your hand in both forward and reverse grip . With the beefed up Axis lock it can hold up to 800 lbs of pressure . I do rec the all black model over the black and tan . I have seen a few posts on the net that the tan wears off . I actually love the all black G10 its very easy to drawl out of ur pocket and it opens so smooth . Imho this is the best knife designed by Benchmade .!!!! Buy one & you will love it and will soon have a problem keeping it out of your hand it just feels like it belongs there . I am glad I went with the Adamas over the ZT0200 this is hands down the best heavy duty blade available today . dont worry about the weight it carries great and is ready for what ever you can throw at it .... Buy one this is a must have at a great price from knife works . I have seen this blade go for up to $210 on ebay so getting it shipped for $135 is just great...

This knife, with Knifeworks discount comes to around $125. Even at $165, it's still worth every penny. This is perhaps one of my favorite Benchmade knives (Now have about 7 high quality Benchmade's) This knife is extremely solid in the hand and the blade is substantial. You won't regret purchasing this knife. I may have to buy another one down the road. I buy ALL my Benchmade's from Knifeworks. They have the best prices anywhere, plus good customer service and reasonable shipping.
