The new Kershaw made in the USA junkyard Dogs feature stainless-steel construction for heavy-duty performance. the blade is Sandvik 13C26, a stainless steel that provides high hardness and excellent corrosion resistance. The handle of the JYD's G-10 have lighter weight G-10 scales ( with CNC machined rivets ) attached to a stursy steel frame. A new one-handed, index finger opening system first builds up pressure and then propels the blade out of the handle for easy deployment by either left or right handed knife users. A frame lock secures the blade in place, while a removable pocket clip keeps the JYD's close at hand.
