A Great Soldier's Knife
G. Mac (Piney) 4/19/2013 3:00 PM
I bought one of these when I first saw it in person, as a gift to my buddy Mike, who was heading over to Afghanistan for his 2nd tour. He's told me that all the guys in the platoon are jealous of his new Buck, and it gets used constantly. It's strong enough for heavy utility use, but razor sharp, with enough great purchase, to be a great tactical blade. I'm very happy he's loving the knife and i hope it helps to keep him safe and comfortable. This knife a bargain for it's quality materials and design, and the cryo & heat treatment of the 420HC makes it comparable to steels costing 2x as much. I'd highly recommend it for anyone looking for a midsize, ergonomic knife, especially a tactical blade that can also serve utility roles.
