ESEE Model 3P Plain Edge, Coyote Brown Sheath, With Molle Locks and Boot clip

After noting improvements offered to us by soldiers and cops in the field, we took the popular Ontario/RAT RAT-3, added 3/8" of handle length, a glass-breaking pommel, larger handle screws, then differentially heat-treated the 1095 carbon steel and dressed up the Micarta slabs to build the ESEE 3. We then coupled this improved model with a sheath system  that can be carried in just about any configuration for the perfect, lightweight carry knife. The ESEE-3 features a substantial upgrade in overall fit and finish, as well as  lined gray Micarta slab handles and a Super Tuff black textured powder coat on the steel. The partially serrated version features five equally spaced aggressive serrations that can be re-sharpened with a 3/8" diameter hone. These serrations are much more efficient than most and easily cut through canvas, seat belts or other flexible materials.
