The large Manix2 is an oversized version of the Manix2 with a blade that is just under four-inches. The blade is locked open using Spydercos patented Ball Bearing Lock. The lock is comprised of a free-floating steel ball-bearing encased in a high-tech polymer cage. When opened, the ball bearing moves forward onto the blades ramp where it is wedged, locking the blade safely open.
The spherical shape of the ball rotates freely allowing the lock to self-adjust across a large surface, ensuring smooth and confident lock-up every time it is opened. The blade is CPM-S30V, ground full-flat and features jimping above the oversized 14mm Spyderco Round Hole. The jimping texture continues from the blades spine to the full-length skeletonized steel liners.
The liners inside the G-10 handle extend beyond the scales, creating a scalloped pattern around the handles perimeter for additional grip. This feature keeps the knife from slipping out in the hand and works well with gloves. The liners serve a double purpose by adding rigidly and lightweight strength to the handle. A three-screw clip can be positioned ambidextrously, tip-up for comfort and pocket carry. The knife also has a large lanyard pipe to protect various types of cords or thongs.

I have been using this as my EDC blade for around 2 months now and i must say, this is the best 100 bucks ever spent on a knife.
I have large hands, and the ergonomics on this knife are absolutely perfect. The gimping on the thumb ramp, finger choil and rear choil ensure a VERY secure grip.
The ball bering lock is incredibly solid and has absolutely no play.
After my two months of constant EDC it has impressed me. The S30V steel has incredible edge retention, i haven’t sharpened it yet, and it is still near factory sharpness.
The ONLY thing i dont like about it is that the knife is a puzzle to try to take apart and clean, because of the face that the lanyard hole acts as a rivet, holding the g10 scales and the liners in one piece.
HOWEVER, with the flow-through construction its pretty easy to just spray out debris with a can of compressed air.
5 out of 5 for me, I LOVE THIS THING.
