In life and death situations, your equipment simply has to perform, first time, every time. That's the philosophy behind all Zero Tolerance knives and tools and the new JB2 is no exception.
The JB2 is constructed of 13C26 stainless steel with a tough, Tungsten DLC coating in matte black. The business end is a 270° cutting notch with a .34 in. entry point. It easily slices through cord, webbing, belts, boot laces and even clothing. The JB2's non-exposed cutting notch ensures cutting only occurs where and when you want it. For Safety, a recess for the user's forefinger and thumb makes for a secure grip even in challanging situations
The JB2 also features a Carbide glass breaker tip loacated at the butt of the handle and two oxygen tank wrenches built into the handle. They're at right angles to each other for easy access on most any tank. In addition, the JB2 offers three box hex wrenches in the center of hte handle choose: 3/8, 7/16, and 1/2 in. Sizes.
The Tools includes a nylon jump rated sheath with quick release cinch streap and belt loop. The sheath comes in a MOLLE-Compatible configuration.
Blade: 13C26 Stainless Stell with Tungsten DLC coating, .34 in. entry point with a 270° cutting surface.

Cutter OK but the sheath is useless

The cutter is ok, handles well and cuts in different directions. Only slight drawback was that it had some scratch marks from sharpening from the factory. Not a big problem as this is a user tool.
BUT the sheath? Really? I think I have never seen something like this. First of all it is NOT MOLLE compatible, or at least I didn't figure out how. It has an opening in the sheath to put a belt through it, but that's about it. But that's not even the main problem.. try getting it out of the sheath with one hand!! impossible for me! One hand needs to grab the sheath even when attached to a belt and the other hand pulls strongly to get it out!
I have two ZT knifes and am extremely happy with them. Love them! But this cutter is of no use at all to me with this sheath! Better go for a Benchmade cutter for half the price. They also come scratched from the factory but at least their cheap sheath is usable.
