Being tenacious means one holds fast. One is persistent and cohesive. It means being tough and tireless until achieving your goal: all knife-worthy definitions for a worthy knife. The mid-sized Tenacious has a black G-10 laminate handle, milled with prolonged fatigue-free cutting in mind. Tucked inside are skeletonized steel liners increasing the handle\'s rigidity and strength without adding non-functioning weight or bulky thickness.

The 8Cr13Mov stainless blade is leaf-shaped and ground flat from spine to cutting edge for cutting performance. The blade\'s shape coupled with an oversized Spyderco Round Hole and textured spine jimping allow you to open the blade and position your thumb on the spine in slip-proof confidence ready for work. A Walker Linerlock (with jimped liner) and a 4-way pocket clip lets you set your carry and draw preference: Tip-up/tip-down left-hand/right-hand. Screw together construction.

AVG KNIFE FOR AN EDC.Review by Bigman
Rating
I've owned and used this knife for about a yr now. As for the pro's of this knife. It's certainly a well made knive for being Chinese made. It's size and heft are now bad at all for it's intended use. It's held up well and shows no real sign of wear after being used for some heavyduty use.Now for the con's of this knife. While the fit of this knife is spot of. The finish could have been done a little better. It had some rough edges on the blade.Plus the hole for opening was rough also. Not a big problem really.A few minutes wilth a fine stone smoothed them out nicely. But for this price point they could and should have beeen better. The finish on the G10 slabs could have been doen a little more pronounce. While they were doen nicely they're still to smooth.Makes the knife a little harder to use in wet condition.I think the jimping could have been been done a little better too.Just doesn't have enough traction there either.Mind you I'm in no way saying this is a bad knife. I just believe Syderco could have paid a liitle more attention to these details.Considering other major knive company offer knives.Made of the same materials and in the same location for less money.I own and use money different knives so I'm a bit picky when it comes to deatails like this. My lower score is a reason for the aforementioned things I've found lacking.Overall this isn't a bad knive at all and will hold up well for you I'd believe.I just think you can find better made for the money. Best value folder on the market. So comfortable both in hands and pocket. Razor sharp and easy to keep sharp. Easy and smooth opening and damn good handle. Perfect gimping and like i said, perfect for the economy... lol (Posted on 3/29/2014)
WELL WORTH ITReview by Joey

Can't go wrong with this folder for the money! Moderate grip G10 handles and average easy to sharpen steel along with nice thick liner lock well worth it. No problem with rust as I live in a high humidity environment and sweat easily....the number 1 Spyderco seller for a reason! (Posted on 9/3/2012)
