Black textured Grivory and a stonewashed D2 Wharncliffe give this AD20.5 an understated, work-ready look, with Andrew Demko’s Shark-Lock™ on the spine.
The 3.25" blade is D2 tool steel, 0.13" thick, with a stonewash finish and a 3.0" straight plain cutting edge. D2 is generally considered semi-stainless; it is valued for wear resistance, but it can stain more readily than true stainless steels, so keep it clean, dry, and lightly oiled. The tumbled stonewash helps disguise the scuffs of daily carry. A ramp-like fin on the spine operates the Shark-Lock, and either the thumb stud or thumb hole opens the blade. Black textured Grivory, a glass-fiber-reinforced nylon, covers steel liners for a 0.32" thick handle, with a tip-up clip set up for right- or left-hand carry. It closes to 4.25", weighs 3.5 oz, and is made in Taiwan to Andrew Demko’s design.
