An all-purpose outdoor, bushcraft, and survival knife is the ESEE-3. This fixed blade is made to be durable enough to handle any abuse you can give it while still being compact and lightweight. It has no extra frills but is big enough to hold and use comfortably.
The blade is ground from 1095 carbon steel and finished in a distinctive Desert Tan coating, part serrated for versatile cutting through cordage and tougher materials alike. The tan Micarta handle gives a secure, natural grip in the field, and the whole package ships in an injection-molded OD Green plastic sheath with a MOLLE back for versatile mounting.
